"When you really want babies, do not go down the baby shoe aisle. I made ridiculous squee noises for 5 minutes... and then bought adorable black satin pumps with flower on them, size tiny. Don't judge. I'll use photoshoots.... of babies.... as an excuse.... I'm officially Liz Lemon. I should buy a cat."

I was told by an awesome 70-something widow today: "if you want to have babies you don't need to get married to do that. It's the 21st century, after all."
