Refuge has helped a lot. I was a contractor and the economy tanked, I fell on my face. Refuge helped me to stay clean, helped me to eat, and kept my spirits up. They helped me to find work, better myself, and find the skills I needed. I am not homeless now, but I come in for a good meal.
I found myself booted out from my home in the middle of a winter storm. I have no where to stay, no where to go.
The care I see them provide I don’t see anywhere else. They take that extra step to check up on people.
