I’m here because my father’s here. They’re a nice group and they mean a lot to me. I called the homeless hotline but they close at 12. Last night I had to sleep on the sidewalk. I was terrified. I honestly thought I was going to die. With all of the government regulations and red tape, it’s hard to get into a place. And the government shuts down places like this. It makes it hard. They say the homelessness is going down, but that’s because people like me get turned away and we don’t count in the numbers.
